Reflections on The New School – Histories of the New School Podcast

Earlier this year I had the wonderful opportunity to talk with two New School faculty, Julia Foulkes and Mark Larrimore, about the history of The New School and my own role in trying to make sense of that history through the lens of student activism and historical political struggles. Some of that conversation finally made its way into a new podcast they developed, Histories of The New School, which you can listen to below! This is the third in their series, and I come in around the 7:00 min mark.

This is part of a larger effort that has been going on at The New School around the 2019 centenary celebrations, although Julia and Mark have been leading the proverbial academic charge in working to uncover a diverse set of New School histories for many years, including teaching and writing about it in the New School Histories at Public Seminar.
